There are a multitude of things to do from Hinton Lodge.
Hinton Lodge is conveniently located amidst a wide range of attractive places of interest and heritage sites such as:

Stonehenge and Avebury - within half an hour's drive you can visit the world's famous site of Stonehenge. Stonehenge was built 4000 years ago and its great stones still exert mystical fascination on thousands of visitors from all over the world every year. The slightly less well known but nonetheless fascinating stone circle site of Avebury offers an equally exciting atmosphere.

Bath - within 30 minutes, you will be able to visit Bath, one of the most beautiful cities in Britain with its famous Roman baths, its very attractive Royal Crescent, etc., as well as its great shopping and restaurants.

Salisbury - another city worth a mention, which is again within a reasonable drive (40 minutes). Salisbury offers much to its visitors with its beautiful cathedral, great shops, etc.

Longleat House, gardens, safari and children attractions provides a fantastic day out for the whole family. Children can't get enough of it!

A range of lovely little market towns such as Bradford-on-Avon (great antique shops), Devizes (its many famous canal locks), Melksham, Marlborough are all within easy distance and worth a visit. Don't miss Polly's Tea Room in Marlborough for its afternoon tea! Several picturesque villages such as Lacock and Castle Coombe are also well worth a visit.
